SAE/USDM Market Air Filters require a 3D printed adapter.
DIY Air Filter Adapter using 42305
- Use a box cutter to remove the paper filter from the OEM filter housing to expose the tube with holes.
- Squeeze the metal tube in the middle evenly until the top cap pops off the OEM filter.
- Use a wire brush / chisel to remove any remaining glue/paper on the top cap.
- Install the filter using the top cap and wing nut.
